Yes, the stories you read here will be all over the place. Take that to mean whatever you wish, because that’s what I’ll be doing. This is first and foremost a travel blog: a home for the stories I’ve travelled the world gathering alongside the stamps on my passport. I can’t promise you infallible wisdom — I’m only 26, after all — but as all stories go, there will be some moral you can extrapolate from each one. Everyone is welcome along for this ride, but you should know I’m writing through the lens of a single woman alone out in the wild. There is much to learn from my mistakes and my triumphs, and quite a bit to laugh at. A disclaimer: consider this a PG-13, sometimes R-rated blog. Sex, drugs, politics, religion…nothing is off limits. I’ve never been one to censor myself for fear of personal or professional repercussions. I’m a journalist by nature, so I write fact. And the fact is, there’s a lot we women leave out to appease others. I’m showing up here 100% myself, because I don’t know any other way to be. If you don’t like that, the “X” at the top right or left of your screen is always available.
